  • Senior Quantity Surveyor (Jetty Works)

    Responsible in the pre and post construction works and preparation of comprehensive proposal/bid to prospective clients.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Registered Civil Engineer
    • Experienced Civil Estimator or Quantity Surveyor
    • Over 10 years-experience in the construction industry
    • With experience working on off shore pile driving project

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    • Attends pre-bid meetings and site inspections for design and construct or repair and maintenance projects

    Job Description:

    • Monitors and supervises erection of steel structures in the projects for industrial facilities

    Job Description:

    Payroll and Timekeeping

    • Process payroll in absence of payroll master
    • Oversee and ensure integrity of staff data in payroll system
    • Validation and preparation of all government reports
    • Accountable in all staff payroll related queries
    • In charge of preparation of annual reports including BIR 2316 and its submission to all staff
    • In charge of validating the alphalist and its submission to BIR prior to due date

    Compensation and Benefits

    • Monitors and collects necessary data from employees to be compliant with benefits processing and filing with government agencies wherever applicable
    • Handles complex queries, processing and escalations related to benefits and liaise with government agencies to properly address the issue and avoid repetition
    • Assist the HR Manager in obtaining information and understanding statutory benefits and requirements

    Job Description:

    • Handles Tax Cases and related BIR requirements
    • Assists in handling BIR-related transactions and documentation
    • Controls all banking and operating system and manages the money transmission system
    • Review bills on a constant bases and assess the various payment activities and methods; maintaining a day to day control over treasury transactions and authorization of bank payments.
    • Partners with the company’s auditors (both internal and external) to ensure that all transactions having to do with treasury is recorded correctly and in accordance with laid down standards.
    • Ensures the coordination of the statutory audit, year in year out, and resolve all possible queries

    Sourcing of Sales Leads and Projects

    • Looks for sales leads and future projects for the company and conducts research on plans and programs for future infrastructure warehouses, data from BCI, news articles and other data sources

    • Makes a follow-up regarding status of sales leads
    • Prepares reports on any updates on the sales leads

    Database development and maintenance

    • Updates and utilize the existing list of possible client registry
    • Reports on the status of the sales leads and discuss with marketing group on weekly basis

    • Provides commercial management and contract administration support to marketing and engineering department
